Why Queenston
A Firm Built Around One Thing: Protecting Both Sides of the Table.
01
Confidentiality
Every conversation, document, and counterparty interaction is held under written confidentiality. NDAs are signed before any sensitive information changes hands.
02
Structure
A 9-module Mandate Questionnaire (40+ sections) and a disciplined 9-phase process. Nothing is improvised. Nothing is left to chance.
03
Dual-party protection
A two-party commitment model with 50% counterparty escrow held in trust — so a serious deal stays serious on both sides of the table.
04
Senior counsel
Every mandate is led personally by Martin-Luc Derome, President & CEO — from the first confidential conversation through closing.
Why this model protects everyone
Three Scenarios. One Protected Outcome.
In every scenario, Queenston is compensated for the expertise invested — and serious parties are protected from bad-faith withdrawal by the counterparty.
Scenario A Deal Closes Successfully
  • ·Engaging Party pays: 10% + 10% + 30% + 50% = 100% of Success Fee
  • ·Receiving Party's 50% escrow is applied toward the final transaction
  • ·Both parties complete the deal — funds distributed per closing documents
Scenario B Receiving Party Withdraws
  • ·Receiving Party backs out for immaterial or bad-faith reasons
  • ·50% escrowed funds are forfeited by the Receiving Party
  • ·Funds released to the Engaging Party — reimburses the 10% + 10% + 30% paid
  • ·Queenston retains its fees; Engaging Party is fully protected
Scenario C Engaging Party Withdraws
  • ·Engaging Party (Buyer or Seller) decides not to proceed at any stage
  • ·Fees paid to Queenston (10%, 10%, 30%, or 50%) are non-refundable
  • ·Queenston is compensated for all work and expertise invested
  • ·Receiving Party's escrow is returned in full — no breach on their part
